Simferopol, Ukraine - The Semenchkov family has taken in 11 abandoned children. They are one of 10 Foster Families in Ukraine in need of finding sponsors for their brood of active orphans.

In the Cherkassy region the Perepelitsa family have established three foster families and have themselves rescued 24 children. Other EEO families have over 10 children each ... and their stories are heart breaking.

These Ukrainian Christian families are not pursuing the "good life" and they certainly are not getting rich.

The Semenchkov family has decided to refuse an empty nest. They are driven by compassion for suffering children that the Lord seems to make them aware of.

The idea of loving and caring families reaching out to their own orphans and kids on the street is one we strongly support. In fact, we are challenged by their example of compassion and faith. 

Semenchkov's Rescue Orphans From Death

The father Viktor is out of work, but spends time doing handyman type work in his small town. He and Natasha teach the children how to tend the garden, raise the goat and care for the chickens. They are just one of many new EEO Foster Families answering the call to provide a home for abandoned children.

Natasha, mother to 12 children, brought 10 month old Gennady home from the intensive care unit. He had been found starving in a trash can. Natasha didn’t need to ask her husband Viktor, she knew what he would say. But Gennady had a sister, Katya, now 8 years old who was found begging for food in the street.

Natasha brought them both home and they are now members of the Semenkov family.

To Viktor and Natasha, no child can be considered "damaged goods" or to "questionable" to be brought into their family. Their love for God compels them to reach out to His children. As a result, children are rescued from certain death.
