The Abaev's Take In 8 Children

The Abaev family is providing a loving home for eight children whom the government calls "social orphans." 

A social orphan is a child who has at least one parent, but whose parental rights have been revoked and they are now legally raised by the State. This is a terrible predicament for a child, though often much better than the abusive situation they faced at home. 

There are ten children in the family, two of whom are their own.

The Abaev's are believers and have two children of their own at home. They are now raising 10 children and are grateful for the support of EEO sponsors. They are also receiving a stipend from the government for their "family type orphanage" as it is officially called in Ukraine.

With grocery prices in Ukraine similar to those in America, this family depends on God to work miracles with their finances. They are part of the EEO answer, our "Family Initiative" which is our emphasis to place orphans with loving families inside Ukraine and Russia.

This family is very sweet and most of the children are very young. Your support is badly needed as the Abaev family lives out their faith on a daily basis inside their own four walls.

Prayer Requests
 

1. Renovation and repairs are needed as this house was donated to them by believers in England. 

2. For enough clothing and medicine for the children.

3. They are concerned for their social orphan children once they reach the age of 18 and are faced with tough decisions. 

4. For spiritual strength for their family.
5. New furniture, beds in particular, because the children grow fast.
