Cerebral palsy seems to be a fairly common problem here in Ukraine. Unfortunately, Alyona has not escaped this condition. Her mother stays at home to take care of her and works as a consultant selling dietary supplements. Alyona’s father still works as a guard.
Alyona is unable to attend school due to her medical condition. She does love listening to music. They have a dog at home named Bars.
Alyona’s mother is a Christian and attends Calvary Chapel Kaharlyk once a month. She takes Alyona to the children's festivals at church. Alyona's parents are very grateful to Jesus Christ for the church that He started in Kaharlyk. They believe in the mercy of the Lord to heal their daughter.
