Happy, healthy, well cared for children who have Jesus in their hearts are the ones who will lead the most positive, productive and satisfying lives. At EEO our philosophy of child development is not connected to an idea of "community development." Your sponsorship funds are not pooled together to dig wells or improve the community. Rather we take a unique family approach, where sponsorship funds are used to benefit the entire family of the child you sponsor.

Sponsorship funds are used for such things as medical needs, preventative care through a 9 month supply of vitamins, sponsor pen pal translation services, financial support, a Christian camp experience, a birthday gift, and vocational / educational assistance through classes at our four Christian Centers, The Daniel School discipleship course is a newer program being implemented for Christian teens to grow in their faith, and a correspondence course for our hundreds of 8-13 year olds called "Growing With God" is now a popular benefit that children enjoy. 

Please remember to pray and write to your child. Your contact via mail or email is an important ingredient in the relationships for your child and their family. Many families in the EEO program are spiritually open, but many are not. Many families have only known hardship and despair in their lives. Reaching out to them with God's love is a process that may take years. Your prayers for your family are meaningful and powerful, and we encourage you to do so.
